Life is short, I learnt this from my dad. He was a man who was loved by everyone. For years he looked after others, most times at the expense of his own family and himself. My dad was a determined man who loved his work. He was educated and was defined by what he does for living. He was passionate about kids’ education and worked in the Government Education Office for many years. My father had big plans for retirement and he was waiting for the day he could start enjoying the next chapter of his life. Unfortunately, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers a year before retirement age and he couldn’t fulfil his own dreams. Life is short, make sure you live for today and don’t wait for the tomorrow. The time is now, make sure that you make every minute count.
